.

Mr. Burks your not alone. It is an extremely frustrating website. Frustrating on finding stuff and frustrating that the stuff your looking for isn't posted.
I haven't seen anything for the FL State Hunt.

Under Coonhounds the they have STANDINGS AND RESULTS.
If your looking for a SLAM result you have to go to SLAM EVENTS and look under results there.

If your looking for STATE HUNTS. I am not sure where you look.

They can't post what they don't have. It is up to the hunt directors/state associations to send in results and or pictures to be posted.

Just seems to me when you win a ukc state hunt they would recognise the winner and 2nd 3rd and 4th place or something on their web site...and make it easy to find.....why not an upcoming events schedule on the coon hound forums ?

Richard you are exactly correct. No argument there. The thing is. UKC doesn't understand the importance to their business of keeping the internet crowd up to date. It has become the way of life. Companies should understand this.

I know the other Kennel Clubs are aware of this. They stay on top of getting hunt reports in. They also have a call in feature for State Hunt and major hunts to be reported. Along with pictures. They work with the clubs to get the info out.
It is also important info when having state races for updated info, because that determines in a lot of cases is you go to a hunt or not. If you have a chance, you will dive the extra miles to be there. UKC sees no reason to get information out quickly. Which is a double negative for them. It hurts them because there is no need to and it hurts them because it isn't done. But UKC is not my business so I will stick to selling dog collars.

I know it's a lot easier to find the other KCs world hunt results. Right there in the forums.

I understand this but I also think people would like to see the results of these larger hunts with pictures of winners and scores posted on this forum ...give the winners and clubs some recognition for their efforts....

Mr Burks, you are correct. I wonder why the guys in charge of these big hunts don't send in or post the results sooner. You see reminders of them on the interweb before the hunt but nothing after. It is like they don't care after the hunt is over.

UKC

No one from UKC is at a state hunt. Clubs aren't required to post on the website. The state hunt results will make the bloodlines magazine.
