Another Garmin & Birdseye Question

I got this new Drive Track 70 for Christmas. I'm trying to put Birdseye on it as it came with a free year subscription.

I went into my Mac computer and attempted to use the files I have already downloaded and saved on my computer when putting Birdseye on my 430 system little over a year ago.

I purchased a 16 gig micro chip and installed it in the drive track 70. I then went on my computer and have attempted to transfer my existing files (that I put on my 430 system) to this micro chip that i just purchased for the drive track, by sending them to what is being called (NO NAME ) file on my computer. If memory serves me correctly this NO NAME file is this Micro chip, but when I turn on my Drive track the Birdseye does NOT seem to be showing up on the screen.

Have I missed a step, or do I need to redownload all my hunting areas while the drive track is connected to my computer or can I use the existing files that I have already downloaded and installed on my 430 about a year or so ago???

drive track 70

I got a drive track at christmas and started to download birdseye the first time it quit downloading because of asupposedly basecamp error. When i tried to continue it kept telling me there was no device connected even every thing else said it was connected and all updates downloaded. After about 10 times trying even deleted birdseye and started over with same results , I just gave up and ordered a huntview map card. Hope it works.

.

On your list on the left hand side of Birdseye. Is the NO NAME right under the 430 Astro. I would think your list has both of them. If so that NO NAME is actually the card in the 430. Little confused here as you mentioned the 430 and it really has nothing to do with this and shouldn't be plugged it or used in any way for the process. It is between you files on basecamp and the drive track.

The Drive track has enough memory to send it to the Driver Track itself. For all the other products I recommend on a SD card but it doesn't seem to slow down the Drive Track with it loaded on its internal memory.

I can't see what your doing so it is hard to get the complete picture. If you downloaded the Birdseye on your Base Camp program you should just have to open it. Then highlite the base camp files in your menu list and send it to NO NAME.

Actually sounds liker your doing it right. You probably have done it right but have a setting issue on the driver track.

On the Drive Track you have to be in DOG TRACKING mode for it to show up. From you main menu on your Drive Track switch to Dog Tracking.

To double check this is the problem if you have a card reader check and make sure you have files on the SD card. Then you know which area you need to concentrate on. Either getting the info to the card or getting it from the card to show up on the drive track.

Thank You Bruce I will Try your suggestion of putting it in dog tracking mode, and if that doesn't work I will put that micro chip in my card reader and if I still cannot figure it out I will install it directly to my drive track. Thanks again!!!

Bruce Garmin should be paying you to keep their gear running. You're a good man.
