Why its important to have a good handle on a dog
Well tonight I was hunting bam and my pup we had made 3 drops and 3 trees , we made our 4th drop and bam hit a running track about 600 yards and fell treed so did the pup as I was walking to the tree I could see a light up in the sky little did I know but it was bam 50 feet up in a leaning tree never has he attempted this he is 15 feet from 2 coons , I always turn his light on his collar when hunting, I thought oh no he is gona die that's too high up to survive a fall from, I hollered dead bam heal ,it took a few times but he quit treeing and he started coming down the tree he made it to about 15 feet when he fell thank goodness he seems to be ok , I sure am glad I have worked on that coming off a tree.
