I don't think they do that anymore , good luck it will hit are they will need to go for a swim , are if you kept the whole litter to cull what needed culled Imo

Cross

Half brother half sister crosses can work but I'd have to have a real good reason to do so save a line mostly but no guarantees can't say I would do a full brother sister cross .

i know uncle x niece, father x daughter, 1/2broth x 1/2 sister has been done with some success. Just wondering if any full brother x sister had been done with any success.

I have a brother x sister cross here. UKC papers say "INBRED". Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't... just like any other cross.

If it were me and the brother sister are tight bred with lots of linebreeding I wouldn’t make the cross...if they do not have many relatives and both are top hounds in every way then I would consider making the cross...test the pups and cull hard...

Warson's Blue Trapper

If I am correct I believe Trapper was from a litter mate cross
a good many years ago I had a son of Trapper that with another dog in the woods could tree a sack full of coon as quick as any dog I ever seen.

We made a hafe brother/hafe sister cross, not sure what kind of success your looking for but this cross worked, they don't competition hunt but they are treeing coon and a few made awesome bear dogs, i did handle one for a month and made NtCh in 3 hunts and he was sold to a pleasure hunter in MO, his name was NtCh Hardwood Chance and man was he loud.
