male hound chasing female hound around in cast what to do ukc

Three dog cast 2 males 1 female only 1 male is chasing and trying to ride a female to the point the two are leaving track and coming back and and male is trying to mount the female beside the cast members . female is not in heat and not due to be and hasn't been for over 3 months.owner of male says female must be about to come in ,or she may be be going to have a false heat.owner of female says no way the male must be harassing because the other male in the cast has paid her no attention.we called the master of hounds and I know what we did and how it was handled but I would like to hear the answer from a more experienced ukc official put into a phrase that I can pull up and show the cast involved and for future reference.thanks.

We all knew to scratch dog at fault my question or what I want to see phrased is the ukc approved or suggested way of having aa female being harassed checked and have that in writing somewhere to show a handler of a male making the case to protect his dog and to support a female from this when she is not in heat and not smelling the rule on the back of the card is too vague for some handlers without any thing official written on how best to check to see if it is the female starting or still with smell or an over eager male

There is nothing at all vague about 6 (d). If a male dog is bothering a female, the judge must check and determine if the female is in heat or coming in or otherwise smelling. If not, then the male dog is scratched. It is the judges decision.

It was determined she was not yet the judge turned loose his male saying that if it happened again he would scratch his dog I argued if it happened again my dog could be minuses if she was chased back again off of track to add to this the third cast member was a rookie who did not want any parts of the decision making

Had similar happen to my male. He was scratched. I protested strongly, barred me,Lol. Few months later same female had pups on board and in magazines for sale. She was in heat after all, bred 2 days before hunt. I was still barred,Lol. But I was right.

What to do???? Just like any rule question. If the judge doesn't go by the rules, you question it and take it back to the MOH. No amount of wording on the back of the card or argueing and debating is going to keep some judges from not scratching or minusing their own dog. That is why the questioning process was put in place.

Last turnout they hit red hot 40 yards in and worked fine together treed together with s twenty Yard split from the dog that never showed an interest in her I should have went with what my bawls was telling me instead of trying to be so sportsman like but I will never fight over a two dollar trophy I know my dogs and there is no registry or any competitors that means more to me than my own dogs do
