so far this summer had fairly good hunting until the last 4 hunts before tonight everything went to crap. sky looked like crap every which way you could imagine. not hunt right, tracks blow up, leave trees, slick tree, road run, just crap night after night. its been so bad i would have surrendered the flag and layed up 2-3 weeks but need dogs in shape for trip coming up. in the 4 nights of harder than usual hunting only coon seen was ground caught and another catch was almost to the dogs where they had him caught in nasty fence fighting and coon got away. LOL.

made 2 drops tonight and sky blasted out struck at quarter mile and moved another 500yds slamming treed. spayed dog was right with her on garmin but never made a bark. got right there and found coon then both dogs way up the leaner tree. crossed nasty creek while calling dogs they come right down and sky resumed treeing at base and spayed dog took off. dumped again and sky slam dunked layup looking good. hope business gets back to usual or im going to start golfing or bowling.
