As many of you know , the performance standings has been left off the new website . I have talk to a couple ukc people who agree that it should be on there, but they do not have enough say so to change it. The main reason I have been told as to why it's not there, is because it didn't have enough views to justify adding it on . So here is my question to all the ukc hunters , and breeders that pay into the performance program , do you want to see an updated standing on the internet or wait to see a month or 2 behind magazine?

Well seeing how we all pay into it and the $$ UKC makes from this program I think it should be on the home page. They got my $200 just to get my papers transferred and enter into the performance program

I think that they know what I think. But no one ever listens to or pays any attention to what I think. They charge us 10% as an "administrative fee" don't they? That should pay someone to keep the site updated. Didn't they fire Corey because he didn't keep the other site updated? They didn't get any "views" because the #'s never changed. Where is that new young lady that they hired?

Don't have enough dogs at the hunts to make it worth while around here. Make it like it used to be were you place cast winners first and finish out through 10th place with non cast winners with plus points numbers will go up more people will pay in points will be worth more jmo but they don't listen to me either Richard lol.

It doesn't really work like that. The more dogs, the more points but the less $ per point. It is an inverse ratio. The more pups registered, the more money. You have to figure out a way to get more pups sold and paid up, not more dogs hunted. In a local hunt with 8 dogs, you pay $15 entry fee and win $80. That makes it worthwhile to me but then I am a poor old man on a fixed income.

Since the $ payout is not enough to keep some interested, they need to increase the prestige or positive interest level. Posting the standings and keeping them updated in a timely manner is one way to do that. At least it works for that other KC. Creating a "buzz" or making a big deal about who is leading can only help create interest. As it is very few people even know or care who is leading. Does anyone even know who the top Redbone Dam is? Increasing interest will increase pups registered which would increase total revenue which would increase the 10% "administrative fee". It is kinda like money a company spends on advertising. They get it back in the long run. Surely someone up there at UKC corporate has been to business school.

3 to 4 registered dogs maybe have to take 1 ntch by its self that's a cheap title anywhere. More places to give more happy people performance points to cast winners only. More happy people more entry's more hunters more pups sold more performance money paid more money for club to give better prize packages to draw more hunters it all ties in together. Frito chilie pie ain't no good without the Fritos jmo.

The main question to my post is do you want to see a perf standing put back on the site ? Does it mean enough to us hunters to be able to see where we are? I know pkc and Akc keep their standings updated online . I choose not to hunt in either club , I hunt ukc only . I reg all my pups ukc perf , I have a stud dog , so yes I want to be able to see where I stand .
