Pup drinks a ton of water

I have a 9 month old pup that drinks an excessive amount of water. I let her out twice a day and every time she passes a water dish, she drinks. Has water in her kennel she drinks alot if too. If I'm out there a half hour I'll see her drink 5 times maybe more and she's a little thing maybe 35 pounds. Any ideas?

Lots of reasons, most of which can be ruled out with a CBC and chem panel. Maybe kidney issues, diabetes, Cushing's disease. Maybe she's just thirsty. Simple vet visit will put your mind at ease.

It could be a health issue or it could be the dog food. Dried dog food has very little moisture in it. To digest it fluid is pulled from the body. I swapped my dog to a raw diet. The first thing I noticed is he stopped drinking water. I dont mean slowed way down I mean I have not seen him drink any, I'm sure he does at some point but I have to refill water buckets in the rest of the kennel every 2 days and his will have just as much as when I filled it.
