False pregnancy

I had a ultra sound done on my female a week or to ago and they said no pups. Since then I've been hunting her and cutting back on her feed. She keeps getting fatter and looks more breed everyday. Got to researching on internet and they say it's not common, but vets miss pups with ultra sound. Has anyone ever had ultra sound and vet says no pups but get some?

No but my female had a false pregnancy last year. She got big as a house and was leaking milk everywhere. Had a whole day in labor and never had the first pup.
