Poison ivy prevention

Whats the best way not to get it. I get it ever year and have tried about everything. Hard to wear long sleeves and gloves in the summer.

Dr told me years ago to use Ivory hand soap, the bar, as soon as I could after hunting. I shower with it as soon as I get in. Used to get it bad but haven't had but two light cases since I started this.

Jewel Weed Soap

As soon as you get in use jewel Weed Soap. Or go out and pick a bunch of it, put in a blender and make ice cubes from the juice to rub on poison ivy if it breaks out on you. The old timers called it water weed.

poison ivy

I get it real bad, the last time I checked the preventative shot had been taken off market, have not checked lately. I ware long sleeve shirt and gloves and overalls then as soon as I get home I take a shower and use TECNU SOAP for poison ivy, sense I started using this I do not get it as bad or as often as before, they sell it at Walmart, walgreens, and online I do not do anything outdoors in summer without washing with TECNU afterwords.
