Some Mongo Mashers learning how to tree!

Corey went to a honey hole last night and was able to tree 4 coon in an hour with Mongo. He took his two pups out of Mongo so they could get some exercise. They are coming along nice and steady and they are putting the tree together.
These two pups are out of the female that I posted on here yesterday with the litter of 12 out of the Red Deer Hound.
These pups are 8 1/2 months old and Mongo is their dad.

I hope the deer hound pups run as good as these coonhound ones do. lol

This is a video of Diva the Mother of the pups when she was young.

.

I have made a few deer hound (running hound) crosses in my life on treeing walker females. I have never spent 10 seconds trying to use one on coon. I know how hard it is to get a good coonhound out of coonhound stock so I ain't wasting my time with and deer hound blood. I make the treeing walker cross to put some trailing ability in the deer hounds.
