I have fed Calibur for over 25 years with good results. Not the best feed, but the best for the money I have fond around here.

I'm feeding Caliber 30/20 puppy food to a walker pup right now, pup looks great! Also feeding Valu-Pak to the other dogs and they look great as well. Valu-Pak is made by the same company that makes Caliber, Rex and Tops- Specialty Feeds in Memphis, TN.

i feed rex for years when it was available . when i couldnt find it anymore i feed hound dog . back 20 years ago the dogs were not such picky eaters and we did not make excuses for them by blaming the food they were eating for lack of performance .lol the slickest my dogs ever looked was from feeding them beaver meat from the fur buyer except the winter i feed them a foundered pony . if i had the capital to start a new company i would make a dog food with horse as the prime ingredient . bet the tree hugers and peta would make it the most famous dog food ever know to mankind .lol anyone out there got a million i can borrow to cover start up cost ?

You would need 3 million just to fight the lawsuits , I remember when it was a main ingredient and then they shut down all the plants. I heard one reopened only to get shut down again .I personally change dog feed ever couple months as I don't like to eat the same thing every day and neither do my dogs, I also feed table scraps just like I always have tonight roast beef is on the menu.
