I don't have a good answer for you Craig. I know it's frustrating. I've hauled dogs and had others haul for me also. The problem is, none of us mind going to the dog hauling forum to make a post about a pup needing a ride. At the same time none of us are good about going to check that forum to see if we can help someone out. That's the problem. Nobody checks it until they need some help.

But it's equally frustrating to have a discussion forum which is overrun with pup needs a ride threads. That's what this turned into before we made the change. My only advice is that between the buyer and seller, one of the two typically knows who might be driving to whatever breed hunt or major event from their area. I still believe it works out more times than not but yes, it does require some leg work. Either it's worth the effort to save $300 or it's not.

I understand the problem, I'm just trying to help run organized forums. If anyone has suggestions I'm willing to listen.

I understand what your saying , but I or who ever doesn't know exactly who may be going to that breed hunt with out asking on that breed forum on who maybe would be going , the normal guy isn't looking on the transport side to see if he can haul a dog to a hunt for someone , I don't look at that forum unless I'm looking on booking a ride but most the time to make the pup more affordable, we try to do favors for each other , I'm up for suggestions from anyone else , I don't have a phone number for everyone on this site to call them , I did like the lay out of old site better it was easier to look up hunt info

Forums A-Z

I solved the problem of knowing what forum to use. I rarely go to any of the other forums. Problem solved.

Fact is from a service point of view the separate forums offer less service and additional time constraints of those worrying about a square being where a circle should be.

It is sort of like getting an extensive phone tree when you call a business. People don't care to listen to a machine when all they want to do is talk to a person.

All in the name of the snowflakes.
