I'm throwing this out to see if there is any interest for a coonhunting podcast. I'm thinking something bi-weekly (or even weekly) where we talk about major events coming up in all registries and possibly even interview registry employees and major hunt winners.

Please let me know what you think of this idea and if you'd listen to the podcast. I'm also open to content suggestions.

I think it is a great idea! The content could be nearly endless - interviews, dog health Q&A, hunt rules Q&A, upcoming events, reminders for certain deadlines, etc.

Paul we don't need to promote it as something to do while driving. These durn phones and devices that we can access in cars these days are killing more people every week than drunk driving is now. It is really a shame that folks can't just wait to text and try to move set points around etc. Some of it is the car manufacturers fault by putting a mini computer on your dash to run the different componets. Just to busy on the dash, and throw in trying to connect the phone, change the channels stuff etc..., and a split second later, there is a crash, and some do not fair very well. What happened to the old timey knob to do things with? My Explorer has a computer dash and it is really distracting to say the least. I can just see us telling the state trooper we were watching a coon hunting podcast. That goes over in Georgia about as well as a fart in church. Carries a pretty hefty fine also, if you live to pay it.

You don't normally watch a podcast. Although some do have a video feed. It's just like a radio show. Me and my buddy were talking about making a coon hunting pod cast as Well as a YouTube channel. So I would definitely tune in to this.

yeah that's what they tell. The F-150 I looked at last week had the "helping" feature. I am just not sure I want to go to sleep with Garmin doing the driving. The one I rode in seems to work great, but there is that feeling of helplessness if you know what I mean. I am sure if I buy one, it will be on it but it will take a lot of getting used to.
