older Nitech Show ch, TRUE coon hound for sale (sold!)

I'm going to start with a statement for any potential buyers.

If you CAN'T take care of a hound the way it should be, don't bother calling me wanting this hound. I've owned him since he was 8 months old and as much as id like to see him go to a home that will enjoy hunting him or hunting pups with him, he is not hurting a thing here and don't mind if he stays.

with that said,

Due to time restraints ( work related) and having another female ive been hunting on my days off this hound has been put on the back burner and deserves to be hunted.

This hound was born in 2008 and is a Nite ch/Show ch. He has these two titles because I was asked to make him them for the sire and dams stats. if I was a comp hunter he would have granded out easily.

this dog has I believe 10 pups on the ground and at least one of these is a dual champion as well.

Hes out of Dual GR Blue Creek Gauge and
GrNiteCh Crosby's Snooter. If you do a search on the forum for this cross you will see he has multiple other littermates that have made nitech or gr.

like the title says, he is an older hound but if you look at him on the bench or in the woods you would have a hard time telling.

he is a Bawl mouth on the ground, a three dying bawl locate and a belly up, don't move tree dog with short bawl/chop.

he is a breeze to handle. you can drop the lead at the tree and he will follow you back to the truck, when you are done hunting yell his name and he will come into you
there is no such thing as needing to be "hunted up" with him. the dog is Extremely accurate, whether you hunt him every night or you lay him up for a couple months.

he is very independent and could care less what the other dogs are doing. if they end up on the same tree, great but you won't see it very often unless another dog covers.

I have no problem giving as many references as you need or showing him in the timber.

price
$500.00

(217) 370-3516

him treeing

2015 opener with him and my female.

opening week one year

ten with and pup out of him on it's first night out.

He will go as far as it takes to tree one unless called in but he takes tracks as they come. he isn't the type that goes 5-700 yards before even putting his nose to the ground.

mike,
Never thought I'd see the day he'd leave my house.
I went out to grab stinger for a quick drop the other night. when I made it around the house towards the kennel Ten got all excited like he always does thinking he might get to go. when I passed his kennel, he put his head down and went back into his dog house to lay down. he deserves to be hunting more than I have been able to this last year or so. I just hope the guy getting him does just that with him.

I believe it is Chattanooga Tennessee or close to there, to a guy named Carmel. Im not sure what he goes by on here.

I advise him yesterday that I had approximately a dozen people call wanting to breed females to him either before Carmel picked Ten up or after he got him to Tennessee. he stated that he would think about whether he wanted to go that route or not. if he does I will give out his number to the people who asked.

thanks and
Take care
Jeff S.

I took Ten out on his last night here in Illinois. While out I decided to take a few videos of him to remember and have compiled them all into one clip. I had an absolute blast training and hunting this hound and I hope the new owner enjoys him the same.

Video: (hopefully the video works I've never tried posting from youtube)

I'm sure there are several in line but if the guy doesn't take him I'd love to have him, he'd have a home the rest of his life.

Sir I don't know you from Adam but would like to say thank you. You could've easily priced this hound at twice what you were asking but wanted to see your hound go to someone who would cherish him as much as you did. I watched the video and loved it. Its too bad we can't hold onto them all and have enough time for them. You are a classy coon hunter and wish there were more like you out there. Sorry you had to say goodbye to such a good friend. Thanks.

Thanks patchhounder, I'm just glad he went to a good home. That's worth a lot more to me than any amount of money.
