Umbilical hernia problems?

My female has had an umbilical hernia since she was a pup. It's maybe the size of a ping pong ball or a hair smaller, nothing huge. My question is would this cause any problems if I decide to have her bred? I would have to cause her or the pups any harm.

Go get I fixed. It's about $100 to $200 you will never know its there and it's a weak point in a dog. I fixed mine when she was 4 the vet did such a nice job she made a show ch and had a nice litter of pups no problem.

A ping pong ball is big.
You could have a major issue if her guts push thru the lining and get pinched.
Why would you not have it repaired?
