8 months old huge mouth when she could bark. she was barking yesterday and all at once bark went soft. now you can barely hear her any ideas ? she still acts good doesnt seem to be painful just cant bark

Im guessing but id say there was a time u werent around to hear her and she barked her mouth out. Try a bark collar or whatever it takes to keep her quiet. If shes quiet shell be fine in 3 or 4 days.

thank you i am hoping that is the case . i have seen them bark out and lose there voice but she just barked and next try to bark nothing ? got a bark collar on her now because she still trys to bark so maybe it will help.

prednisone will relieve the swelling. But 3 to 5 days rest will do it if you can keep her quiet that long. Is this the fellow in Mississippi?

you can also give them honey & lemon mixture to help coat and soothe throat. have also used robitussin cough syrup
