Help, puppy supplements?

Any one ever use Breeders Edge NutureMate? I have a puppy that is just 36 hours old right now and not doing well. The mother had written him off and left him to the side to die and my wife couldnt accept that and she brought him in the house to take care of him. We've been hand feeding him and keeping him warm and hes making slow progress. I was looking into supplements for puppies and found this stuff. I used Breeders Edge stuff before and been happy with it and I know other people that have also. Just wondering if anyone else has ever directly used this stuff? If so did it help or do you know of something that works or works better. This puppy is the runt and only about half as big as the rest in the litters and pretty weak. Just trying to help him out, even being left to the side by his mother over night and cold he still hung on and stayed alive so this little guy has heart, id really like to save him if I can.

Google Myra Savant Harris for her puppy formula recipe. Also liver water and glucose. Keep him warm. A cold puppy can't digest.

I'm assuming that he got to nurse a little to get some colostrum in the beginning. Goat's milk is what I always raise puppies on along with several other animals. He will need to be on a heating pad on low with a towel or something so you don't cook him and in a warm draft free area. But anytime you are home I would recommend just carrying him against you for the body heat. Newborn puppies have to be stimulated to go. Baby wipes or a tissue dipped in warm water then wipe him like his mother would lick and hold him over the toilet or a trash can. He will need to be fed about every 2hrs at first and you will need to make him poop and pee after each feeding. A newborn baby bottle and with a soft nipple work best at first the switch to the regular nipple, those pet nursers are horrible. If you have any problems feel free to contact me.
