OK, with all that is being said now, what do you all feed and have never had a problem with heat cycles or raising puppies? Protein/fat and which feed. There are so many.

A couple years ago I had a female that was long overdue to come in heat. After talking to a Vet, I:

1. Switched dog feed from Diamond to Science Diet large breed puppy food
2. Put her on a multi vitamin.
3. Brought her worming and vaccination up to date.

2 weeks later she came in heat. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe not. But I will never feed Diamond to a dog I want to breed. I also believe most dog feeds are short on iodine and other vitamins and minerals so I will continue to give them a Doc Roy tablet or 2, per day.

Purina dog chow for 20 years. I do not raise a lot of litter however never had an issue with heat cycles nor having a litter.

I feed victor 30-20 n love it also will feed the 26-18 it's not cheap but that old saying u get what u pay for there's a lot of good feeds out there tho just not one that's gonna be the best but if it's cheap prolly not great feed

Anyone use Hi Standard Ultimate or Sportmix Wholesome Lamb and Rice? Thinking I like the ingredients, like to know if you like it for the dogs.
