Biggest coon you've killed

Had a good night last night with some good friends. First drop the dogs split treed about 750 yards away. I shot out a nice 19-20 pound coon, and a friend shot the biggest coon I have ever seen. He sent me a picture today of it on the scales, it weighed 37 pounds. Just wanna know what the biggest coon you guys have harvested was.

34 pounds. I killed a 32 and a 30 pound boar back to back in the same woods in 2007, within 100 yards of each other.

I live about 4-5 miles south east of Warren. Yeah that 37 pounder was shot just about 1/2 mile off of SR 218. Shot it out of a woods nobody has coon hunted in a long time. Treed those 2 good ones about 150 yards apart

Killed one that weighed 26.2 in the winter of 1997. That's as big as I've seen here in Arkansas.

I have hunted IA, MI, MO, NE, KS. Never seen one that weighed 30 pounds.

26 pounds is the biggest I have laid my hands on.

32 POUNDS! Near Salisbury, NC. Killed in 2009 on my Grandpas land. We knew it was BIG by the thump he made when he came out! Luckily he had been shoot several times and stunned from hitting the ground but he still put up a good fight against 3 grown dogs. We weighed him on a scale for large game but were skeptical so we double checked with a digital scale and confirmed it. My buddy was supposed to mount it for me but he said his freezer went out and I never saw that coon again. I regret ever giving him that coon. It's something I've thought about many many times and wished I had back to do all over again but regardless it was a experience and memory that I'll never forget.

A couple of yrs ago, Chuck shot a 22 lb coon down while I was leading Ruby out. The coon fell and hit me on the shoulder! Broke my flashlight and half scared me to death. I bet people heard me scream a mile away.

Biggest coon we have killed was at least 35 or 40 pounds. Friend of ours had told us for years about a big coon on his deer feeder. We would get after him about every time we turned loose on our friends property and the coon would run into a thicket and into a hole.

Around the hill from our buddies house a guy planted corn fields on top of a knob so we turned one dog loose on the left side and turned two on the right side. Left side dog got treed went into him the other two came with in 100 yards of him treed running that coon, and the coon turned and left there. We got the dog off the tree and walked to the top of the hill and the garmin showed the other two 1.12 miles away on the garmin.

So we drove around to where they was at and there wasn't anywhere to get off the road so I stayed with the truck and my wife and dad walked down to the dogs. They was probably 75 to 85 yards away from the truck in a field they finally found the coon and my wife and dad thought there was two in the tree.

My dad asked my wife which one she wanted to shoot and she said the right one well she shot and that ok big coon ran up the tree. Now remind you I was 75 to 85 yards away from the tree and the coon was as big as a cub bear it looked like.

My dad said the legs on the coon was as big as his legs. They didn't get a picture of him

46 lbs. Second biggest coon I've ever seen, but 40 pounders aren't unheard of or even all that rare around here. That one in particular took two full, grown males on a good trip down a creek bed, and ended in a brawl. It was soaking wet when I carried it back to the pickup, and we all new it was huge. My buddy Matt dried it out in his shop and we weighed it.

The best 3 coon I ever sold at a fur buyer were 37, 40, and 41 pounds. Poor high school kid showed up with an S-10 full of coon, and he got less money than I did for the three.
