We are pleased to announce we have a great line up for hunts this year.
We are having a Zone 4 Hunt and Show dog of the year. Every time you enter your dog it gets a point. You win your cast or Best of Show or CHAMPION or GR CH. It gets a point.
Zone 4 Championship Hunt will be a double points in all categorizes awarded. This is for zone 4 dogs only.
Winner will get a full page in next years bluebook,a nice plaque with hound pictured in it. Working on more awards.

I'll do my best to explain.
Thank You for asking.
1st. Each Zone Dog Of Year Hunt and Show will represent there Zone at the Nationals in 2018 at the invational hunt. They will be hunting and showing for a top award. The talk is a engraved rifle.not set in stone.
Points as follows in the way zone 4 is picking the top hound is as follows.
BBOA ZONE 4 Hunts and Sectionals only in 2017.
1. Enter hound. 1 point.
2. Win cast or Best of Show win, Ch win or Gr Ch.winner receive 1 point.
So if its a friday night event you could get 2 points for hunt 2 points for show. Same for saturday.
You could end up the weekend with 4 points in each category.

Our Zone 4 Championship which is being held at the Limberlost Coon Club will be a double point event and in case of a tie at the end of the point tally the Hound that won at the zone 4 championship will be tie breaker. The last hunt is the Ohio State Championship nov.3rd and 4th.
Please ask if any questions. This is our first year for hunt and show dog of year and are going to try to make this as painless and as easy as we can to understand.
