This is by far the best thing I ever bought for my red, I bought it last yr. It's a small metal heater [[about ]] 10-w 12-h 4-d mounts to inner wall of dog house. It cuts on & off to maintain what ever setting you set it for
I set it for this 11 yr old red 55* - 60* It is a insolated dog house 1'' top bot sides with heater it was 4* mon. tue. wed. with 35 mph wind & that dog was warmer than me. Checked by a a thermometer I have pine wood shavings for bedding. feel free to ask any Q I will help U
