what's up with these redbones ?

Did somebody come up with some Old Dan semen or what ? I don't ever remember seeing so many redbones getting their picture taken. I say this not to be a smart butt im serious, I've never seen what i would call a good redbone ( hunted with probably 25) I never doubted they were out there just never seen one myself. The Barnyard Crow dog is pretty near here and im gonna see if his owner will take me hunting with him . I've heard from a few people he was very much for real. If anyone is using some Old Dan semen on an extra special female holler at me. I know Old Dan was good on coons ,trailing wounded grandpas and killing ole blue .

Dan sucked...these you see are the real deal, real dog men serious about breeding for a better dog, especially one in a red coat.

The only two I can think of for miles from here are the real deal. And are owned by the same man.

I think it was the other way around. She couldn't even find her food bowl when Old Dan died.

I'll be honest , I've always and mean always been a walker guy . My wife and daughter bought a redbone pup at walker days the last year it was in Salisbury Nc . I was really upset but it's turned out to be one of the best pups I've ever had . She has a level head of sense , one of the smartest pups I've ever had , coon crazy , friendliest pup I've ever had especially around kids . She's more than a pup she's one of the family . I'd own another one for sure ! Good for the red dogs !!!!

There has always been some good red dogs around the
country but there are a lot more now. I hope one of em wins it all. Impressive performance from Bingham and company in Iowa. That's gettin it done.

I bet ol "Billy" would be proud. If I remember right wasn't the movie based out of Oklahoma. I think there is even a redone from there competing this year.

redbones with cast wins

Good luck to the redbones that made it through. There were a few others that got cast wins that fell just short. We are turning lots of heads right now. Had lots of people asking questions in Meadville.

Good luck this weekend!

If Billy takes you for a round with 'Ol Crow, you better tighten up your boot laces. I've drawn him a few times. I'll not ruin the surprise, you need to see for yourself.

I told myself years ago that someday I would find me a Blakesly bred red dog. I still think about it every once in while. I have heard many good things about that old line but not sure if any of it still exists.

About 19 years ago, I drew out with a Yellow River bred male dog that was a two year old. That dog impressed me to no end. He did everything right with no mistakes. And yes he won the hunt. Very nice dog but again, that was years ago. Wonder if those lines are still out there?

I like my English dogs too much right now to be making any changes around my house but who knows what the future holds.

Yes there's still yellow river blood. The Crow dog being talked about here I believe is yellow river on his top side.

The Jump Em Up Jeb dog is also yellow river on the top.

Ya both Jeb and Crow go back to Yellow River (Fireball) x Timber Jack breeding. It's produced some big time winners for sure.
