Been awesome hunting

Sunday our rifle deer season closed so we got back to treeing Ricky.
The moon was really something to see and watch, sitting on a log while they are worked an old feeding track waiting for the locate and then the change over. Doesn't get any better then that. This is my 61st season and it's as much fun as my first. The only difference is I've learned to enjoy the work of the hound now that I know more about the "big" picture!

The last 3 nights we scored every night and seen some nice work---lots of deer feeding and big bucks chasing does and coyotes not happy that we were in their world. But happy that the "team" knew what we were after and unless it had a ring tail, they pass up the junk.

Sounds like Friday we will be getting 4-8 inches of snow so that could be the end for one sport and the beginning of my other--Coyote hunting.
