About 10 years ago a pack of coyotes killed my puppy. He was im guessing somewhere between 5 and 7 months old. We didn't get to him in time. We never heard a peep out of coyote until the fight was on !! They was either out hunting or either he got near their den I guess.

I am in upstate ny. Have yotes come in on almost every tree. Blinker lights and bells help but not always. Dog trees we get to em asap. Kind of tricky when ya got some get deep tree dogs

I had one eat up so bad at a tree when he was young, that to this day if he gets near where coyotes are he will come and keep me company. To you guys that want that alone and deep dog, remember to a coyote, he's lunch.

You can hunt in coyote territory for years with no problems but something triggers an attack sooner or later whether it hunger fear or territorial. Dont put it off take percautions now. I have a couple buried here that i regret not being proactive.
