Michigan bobcat kill tags

I was reading the MI DNR hunting book and it says.. Bobcat kill tags are only available through Nov 30. Better get them pretty soon

I heard a rumor about that from someone else. Been meaning to check into it. Thanks for the reminder! Makes no sense to me. Wonder where the logic is in that? A bobcat tag is free with your fur harvester license still isn't it? You think they are trying to prevent people from harvesting a cat first then going to get a tag for it?

To many people where taking cats and would get family members and friends get tags after they would kill the cat to tag them the cat. There try to save somewhat of there cat population
