Recipe

What is the best recipe to get skunk smell off of Garmin Collars?

Used Dawn, Peroxide, and baking soda for dogs and washed collars with it. Dogs ok, collars not still smell.

:)

LOL yes first time for this dog, not sure if just happened on it or actually tried to grabbed it, no barking just came back with 6 month old and they smelled, he may have learned his lesson he was puking all way up to truck . Had two of my plotts that would "KILL" two a year. Guess will put up with the smell on collars until it wears off.

Recipe

Use the scent away spray like deer hunters use to kill there smell. It is the best thing I have found and it is not perfect but it works pretty darn good.

XO Scent Killer works better than anything else I have tried.

skunk off

I use natures miracle skunk odor remover. I soak my collars in it as well and then spray with my kids sports gear bacterial spray and it goes well.

I've used the baking soda peroxide dish soap thing many times and this was much easier and good, if not better.
