What to give a female to help make milk

I have a older female who should be about about 20 days pregnant. I was just curious if there is something out there that is specifically made to help females produce milk? I know there are plenty of things you can use like, canned milk, cottage cheese, puppy food, ext etc. but is there anything that is specific for milk production

Beef liver, 16 oz. a day starting 2 weeks before whelping and continued until 3 weeks after whelping. Combine this with a good quality puppy food. Adding water to their feed, especially after whelping, will help as well.

Marshall, I'm a firm believer in Happy Jack Milk Aid but only for prevention of acid milk. If you want to increase milk production the best thing I've ever found was raw fish. I have seen bitches drip milk while nursing that was getting raw catfish every day. Does help that I live on the bank of the Yadkin River plus I like to fish about as good as I like to hunt.

Take a can of Sweet potatoes and a can of mackeral and mix up good feed to female after whelping. I give my females 2 feedings of the mix along with quality dog feed and they always milk good

Near beer

Give her a couple cans of near beer. Not being smart, the yeast in it will do it.
