salley Started out with a bang, first place Rqe, nite one zone, 3 way split carring first strike. Had coon but only looked twice. That split took 2 hr to score. Second night, complete domination, she treed 3 coon. Thur night at world, complete domination with one coon, but had several huge dens. Easy pass on round 2. Friday she drawed sue; low end strike was hurting us, 100 behind with 3:44 min left. Moved asked Phyllip if he wanted me to protect her points or if she gives it to us take it. Of course he said take it. 30 sec left she blew up on one, waited where no one could tree after her and hammered down. She convinced judge all way to her but ended up moving. That cost her top 10 or better, felt horrible. Got back to trk and first thing Phyllip said was I treed her too. Made me feel little better but not much. It was a complete pleasure hunting her for last 2 months, she has one of the quickest triggers out there, packs up and gets hers, Met tons of awesome people this week, not sure Phyllip knows any strangers in the coonhunting world, lol. A Job Well done! I couldn't be prouder for ya'll. I consider Mr. Herron a close friend and my Mentor! You couldnt ask for a better and harder working handler than Mike. He gets down to business and doesn't fool with the politics or gossip of the sport. When we talk at the small local hunts, he knows I dont comp hunt anymore, but is kind enough and takes the time to talk shop with me and it's all about what the coon are doing and what the dogs do in the woods. How it should be! Excellent Job! World Champion in my book, all day long, any day or night !!!
