lol

Sounds like this is a nice little dog!!! But also sounds like you are trying to train her!!like lot others do!! not to be with a dog!!at all to the point you will have to have her dog broke before she goes to another dog!! and it sounds like she prob has been hunted with a pack or others her hole life!! keep shocking and beating and you will have bigger probs! than her just going to dogs!! if you don't completely ruin her!!! good luck!! ill just take her off your hands!!lol

It's mainly a natural thing. Say my dog is treed in yonder. You cut her loose. Will she run straight to mine and start treeing?

yep

like GaDawg said! some dogs it comes natural and some you just gotta break from honing others!!!I like those that it comes natural!! but it dosnt bother me if they have nothing going on to honor another dog!! just not on a slick tree!! that tells me they are just tree barking because the other dog is! no scent to smell!!

Cut another dog loose let it get treed go to it cut you a good switch turn your light off call your buddy to cut your dog loose and get ready. You have to change her mind before she gets to the tree. Sometimes I have luck with someone strange to the dog do the correction instead of the one that feeds them everyday. Remember before she gets to the tree.

Shocked, kicked, switched, everything short of shooting and she won't change? At that point I'd accept that I got the perfect dog for some other guys and sell her to one of them cause you obviously ain't gonna change her.

Most independence is in the genes and can't be changed just making you and the dog miserable change dogs and give you both some relief . Someone else will like her like she is. Just a suggestion please don't take offense.

I had one like that, she would cross a block to go to a yard dog... I got her broke the same way I teach one not to go back to a tree.... Get a dog treed in yonder and cut her loose, watch her on your garmin and every time she heads toward the treed dog bump her with just enough juice to change her mind, dont fry the hair off your dog just keep bumping her every time it looks like shes headed in to cover. This will work but most will need a refresher from time to time.

change your training, instead of hunting alone 4 times a week. Hunt with other dogs 4 times a week and work on covering. 2 or 3 times a month won't cut it.

I work my dogs totally different then most. I won't beat one that comes into a tree it's just confusing them. Most dogs are smarter then then us handlers. Let me suggest this. I always train my pups by letting an older tree then I take my young dog in past them fifty yards and I make it go hunting. I do from the start most of them have no issues with this some it takes some more encouragement. But you also have to have a dog that will stop when you call its name because if they turn toward the other dog they need stopped.
