Not something to be just given willy nilly for any reason, but if you need it, it works same as for people. Been used on dogs a long time. I wouldn't give it as a long term treatment, but that's just me.
Can be given for allergies, reduces reactions and swelling to insect bites, bees, snake bites, etc. Can help with motion sickness, and also works as a mild sedative.
