Mother died last Sat./Funeral on Tues., so after sitting on fence about whether I could attend AO for sure is not an issue for next week. Never lined up a room because of other issue, so now I'm looking for one.

If you have a room you are not needing for next Thurs., Fri. & possibly Sat., I would take it off your hands. Closer/cheaper (???)to fairgrounds the better with 2 beds. Looks like I'm going to be making this trip solo, so if anyone has a room in richmond with 2 beds & don't need the other bed, I may be interested in splitting cost with you. Just a thought to help cut down on expenses!!! Take care, Ron

Ron, Rain Tree Inn in New Castle, IN. has rooms. It's about 23 mile from Richmond. $73 a night. Cheapest and closest I have found so far. Good luck. Centerville, OH still has several hotels with rooms. Pretty cheap too. Bout 30 miles away.
