This bloodline has been super good to me! I owned 100 Proof Rat and hunted and handled a lot of dogs out of him especially from the same cross as Buckshot and they treed me a ton of coons and did my share of winning. I think everybody that knows me (J.D. Simmons) knows i will criticize my dogs just as hard as I will any others and I believe in this bloodline.

What you and John did with ol rat and his offspring is most impressive thing that'll ever happen in this parts and not taking world hunt from bozz, cause that was special but it's the amount of good quality pups that came from rat and not just stud u all hunted what u bred.... changed everything down here, type a hound u packed to the any local club round here better been nice or the 100 proof rat dogs gonna place every cast lol they were that dominate and beat me too often lol can't beat em join em right u 2 were and still top notch guys and always was happy to draw jd simmons, few reasons 1 i knew for a fact if a dog treed a coon jd find em better n faster than anyone i knew no matter whose dog and 2 jd is as honest as they get , he didnt need to cheat w caliber hounds he packed but type guy wouldn't cheat a sole even if had a pot licker (if ya drew jd u know he wouldn't hunt a pot licker lol). glad to tag along off what u all accomplished. My brother and i got 2 doc pups we plan on training behind ol buck.

Thanks Joe we are very greatful for your kind words. All the credit doesn't go to us or even Rat he did his part but, we breed some nice females like Buckshot's mother Veale Creek Sheba that Roger Boyd owned and he and a lot of other good friends hunted our pups or we couldn't have had much success! It is humbling for us that there are still dogs being hunted out of our line and we are very thankful!
