Midday coonhunting
The dogs normally go for a run first thing when I let them out, now that Rosie is feeling better she is going out with them. So with her loud mouth she is giving away the pups playground in the timber.

They held pressure on this for about 2 hours, well Rose did I'm pretty sure the pups played & I knew they where next to the creek.

So after picking ripe gooseberries to eat while waiting for the dogs to quit running up & down the tree trunk they showed me the well worn path out to the main creek.
We meandered through the cold water, sticking to the shade because it was hot when Lucy struck on something up a small cliff. Soon enough the rest followed her & something was pinned quick.

So I climb up to see & to get a good picture, all the good dog thoughts ended when I noticed the white stripes up its nose & head. We had an angry badger pinned. I had a good shot the dogs let off pressure & the pasture has one less hole digger.
