Feeders

Let's see everyone's feeders. Post pictures of feeders that have worked good for you.

5 Gallon bucket buried 1/2 in the ground. Fill it 1/2 way with corn rest water plus 1 can of cheap beer! After they start coming in just corn and water. If the coons don't hit this they wont hit anything. Great way to kick pups off but don't run them on there very much or very often. Turn them loose a distance from them.

Here is a few that I have had good luck with....

The little pipe that they actually eat out of is metal...I tried PVC but the squirrels just chewed it back until they could reach the feed. Add more outlets if you have a lot of coons...with one pipe they will fight over it. Several outlets seems to keep them civil.
All of these use dry feed. Usually, I mix cheap dog food 50/50 with shelled corn. The coons prefer the dog food, but the corn keeps everything moving thru the feeder. I add grape or black raspberry Kool-Aid dry powder to the mix.
I have never tried the water/corn mix but a lot of guys do. Not saying the wet soaked rotten corn and water mix wont work, but it seems like to me in the winter it would freeze and be pretty much useless.
I have tried all kinds of sweet sugary candy syrupy stuff and it works best in the winter when there are no ants or wasps out.

This type will feed all kinds of animals...not just coons.

I use the same type of feeder as the one above except I place my spout about waist high off the ground and turn the spout where they can dig in it. They dig a little out and then have to climb down to eat and then repeat. Seemed to keep them there longer
