The Trimble Township Coon Hunters of Glouster Ohio are holding a UKC sanctioned Youth Hunt on Saturday, July 9th.

Bench Show deadline is at 5:00. Night hunt to follow. We have many great prizes donated by many folks and organization so bring the kids and give us an opportunity to introduce our young hunters to the sport of competition coon hunting.

We will post a full list of the many companies, coon clubs, and individuals that have donated to this event along with the winners of each age group when this hunt results have been finalized.

Come one, come all. We truly enjoy the fellowship found with other hound enthusiasts .

As I understand the situation, Allen is correct, The hunt deadline and show deadline are both scheduled at 5:00 PM.

I realize this may cause a bit of confusion as normally there is a different time from show deadline to hunt deadline but in this case, the discrepancy was not noticed before this event was publicized in the coon hound bloodlines.

Therefore as protocol requires, since these times were publicized in the magazine we are required to honor those times as 5:00PM as the deadline (This Year) for the hunt AND SHOW.

Please make special note of this that the hunt and show deadline for this years events is (5:00) We sure don't want to have to turn folks away because of a misunderstanding in hunt deadline.

Next year, we will make every effort to get the show times at 5:00 and the hunt time for 8:00. But as it stands for this year, the deadline to sign up for the Show & Hunt is 5:00 P.M.

Please pass this along to anyone/every one that you know will be coming to this event. We apologize for and confusion and/or misunderstanding directed toward this event.

Thanks for a great time at the hunt yesterday. Had a good time and a good hunt but the kids and the dogs just couldn't get on the same page. Lol!!! Met some great people and we'll definitely be back.

Kevin, It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and your family. So very glad that you all had a good time. I personally had a great time talking hounds with you and your family. It was also very enjoyable reminiscing about the hunts, and the hunters we both knew, though to my knowledge you and I have never met.

Ole Sam, was a great coon hunter, with a drive and passion that is seldom seen anymore. But just reminiscing about him brought back some good memories that are now probably 30 years old.

Thanks again for coming up, and I sure look forward to seeing and talking with you and your family again. Take care for now!!!
