Ted's pledge was to "support" the eventual nominee, not specifically to "endorse" the eventual nominee. There was no discussion as to what level of support was necessary to fulfill the pledge. Ted's speech was great, focusing on issues that are important to conservatives. He looked, in my opinion, very presidential. Remember, even if all Ted ever does is quietly cast a vote for Trump, he has fulfilled his pledge of support.
How about a public outcry for Trump to unite the party by publicly apologizing to Ted and his family and asking publicly for their forgiveness? Wouldn't it be worth it for the good of the party, for the good of the country? Oh, I forgot, he doesn't ask for forgiveness, does he?
