Plus Point English
Many of the "old timers" remember when I campaigned and promoted the English breed in the late eighties, through the early nineties and at the beginning of the new millennium. My featured hound at that time, UKC GR NITE CH PKC CH Plus Point Blue Boy Bruiser, was a nice hound and a pleasure to hunt. I met a lot of great friends through that old dog and had many enjoyable hunts with those friends during that time.
When Bruiser was approaching his senior years, I knew I was going to step away from coonhunting to concentrate on raising a family. I didn't want to drag my kids to the woods when they were young only to burn them out of hunting at an early age, so I traded coonhunting for baseball tournaments and Friday night football events. I wanted my kids to let me know when they were ready to give coonhunting a try. Fortunately, in 2012, my kids started asking questions about coonhunting. It wasn't long I had a dog and started taking them to the woods. They took to coonhunting like a duck to water. My oldest, Allen, is more into the pleasure hunting side of the sport while my middle son, Tyler, loves the competition hunts. My youngest, Cody, who is nine hasn't figured out his niche yet but enjoys going to the woods with his brothers and me. He also enjoys knocking out those coons with a shot from his trusty rifle.
It has been a wonderful experience coming back to this great sport. The future of our kennel is in good hands with the current hounds I have along with the young hounds I am working for the future.
I couldn't be happier with what I have kenneled here. I am currently offering UKC Dual Grand Champion PKC Champion All Grand Yogi at stud. He is throwing very nice, balanced pups with a head full of sense. His pups have loud mouths and are dual purpose hounds that excel not only in the woods, but on the bench as well. You will never be ashamed of entering the hunting club to get your picture taken after a big win with a Yogi pup on the end of your leash.
I have two litters planned for 2016 out of Yogi. I plan on breeding UKC Dual Grand Champion Smooth Sippin' Moonshine to Yogi. She is an older female directly out of GR NITE CH Smooth Talking Jodies Jed and GR NITE CH Hunter's Little Ann. Should be an excellent cross with big mouths and plenty of nose.
The second cross will be with CH GR NITE CH Tree Rockn Nelly. I have had a lot of hunters ask me when I was going to breed Nelly to Yogi and this Spring is when it's going to happen. Many will remember that I bred her to UKC Dual Grand Champion PKC Platinum Champion Main Street Max, then bred her to UKC Dual Grand Champion '98 English Hall of Fame Wilcox Thunder Bingo (semen) for her second cross. I did so to enhance my own kennel with young talent I can cross back into my existing bloodline at a later date. I am very happy with the pups I kept out of both crosses and feel strongly that Nelly will be on UKC's reproducer's list once these puppies start entering the hunts. Here is a pic of Nelly:
A lot of great things are happening at Plus Point English. I feel very good about my breeding program right now and the direction it's heading. Hopefully our presence is known at the hunts in the coming years and that the English breed, as a whole, continues to breed for better English hounds that can win in the hunts.

I'm just Praying you get through this . I cant imagine what you're feeling right now. You worked so hard in making this great cross possible. And my condolences to Larry for his loss of ms. bingo also. Every evening I get home from work the FIRST THING I do is check on Star.
