Best english for bear?

I was wondering what the opinion was on the best english hounds for bear. I am interest in breeding that can rig off the truck and can start and trail cold tracks and stay with it. Thanks for your help.

There was a real neat article in bloodlines in the past few years about a guy out west bear and lion hunting with english dogs. It was in pleasure/big game/show issue.

Lightfoot bred hounds do very good on bears. I've been hunting them for years. They will stick on a mean bear.
