Oh my goodness, I ate some turtle meat that someone had fried at National Redone Days in Holmesville last year. It was good. I had not had any in a long time. We used to catch them when I was a kid and my grandmother would fry them for us.

Clean That Sucker

Cut his head off...stick a garden hose in his neck..put a hose clamp on it and turn it on..That hydraulic pressure will work wonders to separate the shell...make it much easier to clean..

feed him

put it in a water tank with plenty of fresh water then feed it corn meal for about a week or so. then butcher the sucker up.
