First eyes solo

Just got my 1st coonhound last summer a blk n tan out of grnitech pr pa sniper x ch stillwater burtha as a 3 month old pup i seen her n couldnt pass her up.my buddy sam got her on trade from a beagle pup he has few well trained coon dogs ive taken to my cabin / land to help my amish neighbors with crops being knocked off by coons soo my intrest in hunting coon started wow the fun ive had now retired with this hound i also bought the amish boys a walker pup out off grandnite loud for them for christmas .so my pup in on a few trees last year during fall end of season with sams dogs always opening on track treeing fine well over weekend a friend released a coon in a hay field a light drizzle out came back to campfire we waited half hour n cut mamba loose she hit the track opened good 200 yrds to field edge n had coon up treeing like crazy . Very exicted about it now the boys came in wvith walker pup also treeing shes only 6moths old the 15 yr climbed up that coon was chattering lol

Congrats; it sounds like that pup is coming on at just the right time. There's going to be lots of young coon running around soon, good time to get one going IMO.

Congrats on your dog treeing,,that's what it's all about for me,,
Watching a pup mature and watch it progress on the way,,I love taking a pup to the woods and watch it learn more and more each day you go to the woods,,again,,congrats and Happy Hunting

Thanks Rlenhart n kevin its great to go to cabin and be able to cut loose from kennel the ag feilds start all around me with woods behind .looking forward to both pups maturing n treeing sum coon having.fun.my sons are also getting the bug.lol.thanks J.P
