Today I am sitting here being Thankful for my freedom and Thanking all the Men and Women who served this Country so I can live in a free land.

While I was thinking about my life and things to be Thankful for, I want UKC to know they are on my list. When I say UKC I am stating an Organizations Name but the people behind that organization are the ones that I am really Thanking because you make UKC what it is.

Yes, your jobs are not Thankless as I am sure sometimes you feel, especially if your read this board much. LOL
As soon as I start with names I am going to leave out some so I apologize and the same with the time line as I may be off a few years as time flies by.

I have been to most of the major hunts as a vendor for the past 5-7 years. You want to see someone earning their money, Allen is there from the start to the finish getting vendors set up and trying to make everyone happy. I can truthfully say over the years he has done an excellent job. That would be a weeks work for most people but just one small thing he does during the week. Todd has always been very helpful in all areas also. The registration department has answered every question I have posed to them on the message board in a timely manner and pointed me in the right direction. Advertisement Department has been helpful getting ads straight. Corey has taken care my internet problems and does a good job keeping the board up to date.

Think about just what this message board offers and for free.
A place to discuss general information about our dogs.
A place to discuss the different breeds of dogs.
A place for vendors to sell and buyers to ask questions.
A place for Stud Dog owners to advertise.
A place for dog owners to advertise.

Yes, we narrow down our perspective of this message board and jump on line to just get another zing or words of wisdom on the latest Lipper post, Wide Hunting Dog post or even the Ivermec post. But think about what UKC offers us at our fingertips and for FREE. I know what it has offered me over the years and yes at times it may seem I am negative towards UKC. The truth is no matter what my feelings on a particular subject. I am very Thankful for UKC and what they do for Coon Hunters Young and Old!!

Last but not least. I Thank all of you for being part of this message board. Agree or don't agree on a subject and that's fine. Honest opinions is what get us thinking and sharing.

You are certainly right about Allen, he is a workhorse! That Corey guy though, I think all he could ever aspire to be is a glorified pack mule

Bruce I just got on this subject the other day. If it wasn't for UKC how many hunting clubs would make it. I for one can tell you not very many. We've come to the point as individuals where the need for us out ranks the need for the local clubs and it's wrong. We need the local clubs for the coon hunting sport to survive and the local clubs need UKC to insure they have the financial ability to stay afloat. Just something else to thank UKC for.
