Back on the 5-16-2016 I was misfortunate enough to have the mail stolen out of my rural mail box. I had just put 3 items of mail which 2 of these were bills with checks in them. Right after I put the mail in the box a neighbor came by and we went and got lunch at a nearby café. We were gone approximately 45 min. When we came back and started to turn in my driveway I noticed the door on my mailbox was down. I told my neighbor to stop as I knew that something was not right. It would be about 3 hours before the mail carrier would come and the flag was still up. I checked and my mail was gone. I called the Sheriff and made out a statement, but as of yet I haven't heard of anything. My mail carrier told me this morning that they had stolen mail out of another box in this area, but this time they were seen, but it was too far from the house to get a tag #, but they did get a description of the car. I write all this but the reason I am thanking UKC is the other Item that I had put in the Mail box was a set of UKC papers on one of my dogs, and it also had a check in it. I had sent the papers in to have the successors name removed from the papers as he had quit hunting. A couple of days after my mail had gotten stolen I sent in for a duplicate set of papers for my dog. The dog had also made Nite Ch. during this time. I sent UKC a copy of the Theft Report and told them what had happened. Today which is 6-30- 2016 I received from UKC a Duplicate set of papers, with the Successor removed and the Nite Ch. already on them. Thank you UKC.
