Big Walnut's One Chance Fancy picked up another NtCh win last night. My son Garrett, age 7 entered in a youth UKC hunt on Saturday night. There were 25 dogs entered and Garrett placed second in the hunt. This is good for a NtCh win. Fancy scored 2 Coons alone that night and had 400+. He also won high scoring for the 5 to 12 age group. He was so excited!!! He did a great job handling. I was sure a proud Dad!! I sure hope Fancy keeps it going through this weekend.

It was a great hunt. All the cast come back with plus points. This was a UKC YEP event. The YEP class was great. The club give out lights to all that entered the night hunt and lots of others prizes as well. Thanks Deer Creek Coonhunters.

This is the best part of the sport. My youth hunter is 17 going on 20 now. Keep it fun and these will be your best memories with hounds. Especially the time spent preparing for these events. Good times.
