Tires cut while Coonhunting.
This past November I was hunting in Indian Valley, Virginia which is in Floyd County (Southwest Virginia). I was hunting on land that I had hunted for probably 20 plus years with permission. Never one problem and always parked at the same place. My son Chris was with me and when we got back to the truck we had 2 brand new tires with knife holes in them. I was so mad, but the biggest thing was why. So I had to call Mitch another son to come and get us which took him over an hour. The next morning I had to get the truck towed in (no towing Insurance) then 2 New tires, total cost over $500.00.
From now on I will not mention any names . I decided to only tell a few friends about what happened and keep my mouth shut about this because usually someone that does things like this is to dumb to keep their mouth shut. Guess what, that's what happened.
A good friend told me that he was hunting with this guy which told him his buddy talked about cutting a hunters tires from Blacksburg. , He said that he was only driving and he let another person out of the truck to cut my tires. I have also been told that the one guy bragged about it at the store. I DO HAVE NAMES . I have also been told the reason my tires were cut is because I had permission to hunt the area and he couldn't get it.
To the person that did this Understand that I am still going to hunt at that place and another large piece of land next to it. And furthermore if anything again happens to my truck or my dogs I will give all of the information I have to the Floyd County Police Dept.!!!!!
