It doesn't surprise me when I see another winner coming from Keith's kennel of dogs. Rip and Toadie are both nice hounds and proven winners and Keith is one of the best pup starters and dog trainers I know in the redbone breed. He doesn't say a lot on the forums but he puts the work in and turns out lots of started dogs each year. When someone asks me if I know where there is a started redbone for sale...I usually tell them to contact Keith.
There are lots of people starting dogs...but Keith knows what it takes to win competition hunts where coons are thin and the level of top walkers you have to beat is higher than most other areas and he starts and trains his pups with that in mind. George has been around a long time in this breed and over the years has done a lot of winning in the redbone breed so it's good to see Keith and George producing and promoting another winner. I have known about this female for awhile now....and before long the redbone breed will be paying a lot of attention to her because I predict she will make a mark on the breed not soon forgotten. Some of the best and most dominant winners and reproducers are products of close line breeding and with her mother and father being half brother/half sister out of Ragged Ridge CD .....I suspect not only will she be a winner...but a dominant reproducer as well. These are the kinds of females that "should" produce the type of redbone competition dogs we need in the future to level the playing field and put this breed back on top after many decades of falling behind in competition circles.

Keith and ole tinker was 9 for 9 after her winning her nt.ch. cast Friday night at walker days,not enough points to get a NT.CH. win but a cast win,saturday night she was winning the cast then back a dog on a opossum,i guess 9 cast wins out of 10 hunts not to bad,
