May the Good Lord be with his family and have mercy upon his soul.

Ole JV loved to stir the kettle of bluetick stew! He may have liked to lick off the stir stick even better after he was done stirring! He loved to give me a hard time about my blue haired culls and these sick woodlot coon they chase after. I would always return the favor with a dig about his make believe Charlie Manson dog and hunting him in wonderland with alice and the rabbit. He kept things lively on the message board. Ole feller would get banned and be right back in the saddle operating under a new handle. A character for sure! I for one will miss his stirring.

Here's to you JV! I'll give ole blue a scratch behind the ears!

..... In the beginning he and I had it out a few times... we came to an understanding though... I ended up enjoying him a good deal in the long run. He did know a good dog. I will miss him and his wit and humor and stirring....
