Well spoken Shane. Sometimes we need to take a step back and remember why we love this sport. I know I have been guilty of it and sometime it gets to be more like a job than a pastime or a hobby to enjoy. I love meeting new people and messing with these crazy dogs. I was never any good at regular sports so I fell back on hunting as a hobby and a pastime. This should be a great lesson for all of us. Job well done Tony with all the hounds you have had in the past!! I'm sure it won't take you long to get back to where you want to be.

I'm not quitting for good, I'm more less taking a break; it might be a week or it could be 10 years. I appreciate all of the people that has called or txt me checking on me. It means a ton, I've got a lot going on & missing some of the best times of my life with my family. I needed a break from running up & down the road. I've missed being home with family & the real meaning of why I coon hunt! My papaw told me when it stops being fun it's time to take a break, that's just what I'm doing. G-Man might not ever get sold, if he don't & when my good buddy Terry Tappy is done with him he'll be a house dog here in Texas & be something I can have fun with again. He has nothin to prove to me as a dog or winner. He's blessed me with a lot of good people in his 3 years & has taught me some valuable lessons! He's a joy to hunt & has a personality of a kid, im just long over due for a break! Good Luck to all the redbones running this year, keep up the great work!
