Has been split 5 times, I think, on 3 hunts and never thought of pulling. To bad Sam can't throw more pups. Thst cross really worked.

What a shame Sam went sterile. Sammie is a Quick HONEST strike dog, Quick to get treed. Pressure, she knows none. In her 2 first places and a second, Sammie had 6 First plus trees and NO Minus.
She has treed, only to be turned back into dogs and get a 2nd or 1st tree again. Her momma had a 1st and a 2nd when she got ate alive by an alligator tree dog, did not like to stay treed with a dog she didn't know after that.
The whole cross was a great one, a male was the lead cat dog in NY. Another brother was ready for the hunts at 13 months old. Another brother treed a lot of coon by 1 year old. A female was alittle gamey, but would tree a coon at 10 months old...Lost track of 1 female in Kansas.
Sam blood is rare, Glad I got some of it.

Sammie is in heat right now. She will not be bred this time. Will be taking suggestions for next time around. I am a huge fan of line breeding. Sire must throw medium to cold nose dogs, and big mouths on his puos. Will try to Dual Gr her this summer.
Any suggestions? I am open to AI if I think it would work.
