Puppies -- Central Missouri
Although early, I have bred my Nt. Ch. Water Ch. Pr' Night Hawk Smoke HTX female to Dual Grand. Nocturnal Tommy Gun dog owned by Larry Hecklin.
The pups are expected approximately January 20. Weaned seven weeks later if all goes as planned.
Larry's dog has done quite a bit of good in the hunts, and I am sure he would be happy to field any questions or take you hunting.
My Smoke female lets a lot of mouth, goes hunting good, and is a much better dog than I am a handler. She looks like a bird dog but has a good mouth. References on both dogs available. I can also provide references on Smoke's pups.
Smoke has a cast win in PK$. She has a win towards Grand, three wins toward Grand Water Champion, and a best in show. She is a trailing type hound.
I owned both of her parents, and hunted with many of the dogs in her pedigree.
Her sire is out of Night Hawk Roy Jr. and Spring River Taz. My female is the only pup he has on the ground.
Her mother is out of Night Hawk Roy and a Hickory Nut Harry female.
The pups should be very loud, and go hunting coons and not trees or question marks on your Garmin.
